President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that President Obama will sustain a loss more than anybody else by issuing a new possible resolution against Iran, because the philosophy of his presidentship was changing inhuman and harsh face of the US government.
Ahmadinejad, in the last leg of his tour to two African nations and after signing cooperation documents in Uganda, took part in a press conference with his Ugandan counterpart President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni .
Answering a question, he said nowadays everybody knows that Iran’s nuclear issue is a political issue, not a legal one.
He added that Iran had observed all regulations, but had not used its rights.
Ahmadinejad underlined that Iran’s nuclear issue has turned into a test for the whole world and it has separated those who are committed to law and justice and those who are not.
Ahmadinejad said the US and Britain governments' hostility towards Iran is not something new and they supported Saddam regime during eight-year imposed war.
They have supported whatever which is against Iran and now their pretext is nuclear issue; they say they are worried about making an atomic bomb, but they are lying, repeated lies.
They have equipped the Zionist regime with 200 atomic warheads and are fully supporting the regime by their financial and technical resources.
They have stockpiled thousands of nuclear warheads, and still say they are worried that Iran’s nuclear activities might be deviated in future.
Ahmadinejad added we say IAEA’s reports have underlined that there is no deviation in Iran’s nuclear activities.
We ask them if they have any documents to prove their claim, they answer: Let us come to your country and find a document?
President Ahmadinejad called US government and its allies actions without legal basis and said Iran wants cooperation and dialogue, but it should be upon respect and justice and we do not accept any pressure and do not follow illegal decisions.
He underlined that President Obama will sustain a loss more than anybody else by issuing a resolution against Iran, because his presidentship philosophy was changing US government inhuman and harsh face.
Obama became president to change discriminatory behavior and imposing double standards by former US governments.
Concerning Palestine issue, President Ahmadinejad said that solution for Palestine issue is holding a free and democratic election .
He continued that Palestine issue is among the most important world and human issues and many of the world problems have been tied with it.
Ahmadinejad stressed that Palestinians' fate should be determined by themselves and if we let them decide by themselves, their decision will be accepted by everybody and it would be a real, clear and realistic decision.
Referring to the presentation of 50 proposals to solve Palestine issue in the last 60 years, Ahmadinejad said that all of them have failed, because for solving a problem, its roots must be considered.
He said that all Palestinians, including Jews, Christians and Muslims should participate in a referendum to decide on their fate.
Answering another question about level of ties between Iran and African countries, including Uganda, the president said that bilateral ties between the two countries are very deep and presidents of both countries are trying to expand bilateral cooperation.
Responding to another question about Iran’s nuclear activities, Ahmadinejad said that the problem of bullying powers like USA is that they want to deprive other countries of using peaceful nuclear energy and they intend to impose their own will on other nations.
He said issuing a resolution based on injustice and discrimination lacks credit, adding that Iran is a powerful country and President Obama needs Iran.
Answering a question concerning Iran’s nuclear issue, President Museveni said that peaceful nuclear energy is used for producing electricity, industry and energy, so access to such energy is all countries' right.
He added that if a country wants to monopolize such an energy, it should be isolated.
Museveni reminded that all countries are trying to access to such inexpensive energy source to help and develop their own economies.
Referring to his talks with President Ahmadinejad, he said that we underlined promotion of our mutual ties in international arena.
