President: IRI to present new ideas in D8 Summit

Iranian nation has specific ideas for establishment of a new world order and a human management of the global interaction based on justice, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Tuesday adding he would present several ideas in the D8 Summit in Nigeria.
Before leaving Tehran for Mali, he told reporters that as the group of eight Islamic developing countries (D8) enjoys special status in the world, expansion of cooperation among its member states would lead to establishment of a powerful economic, cultural and political bloc in the world.
The IRI president said the current global economic downturn and necessity of changing the current world order can be discussed in the summit which is to be held in capital Abuja.
"I will first visit the brother and friend country of Mali ahead of my visit to Nigeria," he added.
He also said the Islamic Republic of Iran has made plans to cooperate with Mali on science, agriculture, car manufacturing, industry and banking.
President Ahmadinejad will visit Nigeria for a group of eight developing countries (D8) summit. He will also meet and confer with officials and heads of states taking part in the summit.
