Seminar in Zimbabwe to Discuss “Liberty and Human Dignity in Imam Khomeini’s View”

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), The Iranian Culture Center in Zimbabwe will organize the event which is expected to be attended by scholars, cultural experts, university students, religious figures and Iranians residing in the African country.

Professor Mashiri who heads the University of Zimbabwe’s culture, art and literature group will present a paper titled “Liberty and Human Dignity in Imam Khomeini’s Political Views”. Other papers to be presented at the seminar include “Political and Social Status of Women in Imam Khomeini’s Thought” by Professor Satza chancellor of Africa’s Women University and “Imam Khomeini’s Views on Role of Human Dignity in Political Development” by Sheikh Adam Salam head of Zimbabwe’s Supreme Muslims Council.

Iran’s ambassador to Harare Mr. Purnajaf, Zimbabwe’s Mufti Sheikh Ismaeel Da’a and Iran’s Cultural Attaché Assadi Movahhed will also address the seminar. An exhibition of Imam Khomeini’s works in the fields of philosophy, ethics and Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence) will be held on the sidelines of the seminar.

June 4 marks the demise anniversary of the late founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran Imam Khomeini (R.A.).
