President Ahmadinejad returns home

Tehran, April 25, IRNA – President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who paid an official visits to two African countries, returned home on Sunday morning. Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, Cooperative Minister Mohammad Abbasi, Agricultural Jihad Minister Khalilian, Head of Presidential Office and advisor to the president Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei and senior advisor to the president Mojtaba Samara Hashemi were accompanying President Ahmadinejad in his 3-day visit to two countries in Africa. On the first leg of his tour, Ahmadinejad and his accompanying delegation visited Harare, Zimbabwe, on Thursday. During visit to Zimbabwe, the two sides signed 11 cooperation documents and one joint communiqué. On Friday, President Ahmadinejad arrived in Kampala, capital of Uganda, and held two rounds of private talks with his Ugandan counterpart President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. Three cooperation documents and one joint communiqué were signed by officials of the two countries. President Ahmadinejad also met with Iranian businessmen and their families who reside in Uganda as well as members of Iran-Uganda Friendship Association.
