Somalia : Somali Government Condemns Suicide Bombers Deadly Hotel Attack in Mogadishu

Mogadishu — The transitional government of Somalia has harshly condemned the suicide bombers deadly attack of Munna hotel in the Somali capital Mogadishu on Tuesday, just as it left the lives of 33 people including 6 Somali MPs.

Sheik Somali president Sheik Sheik Ahmed had send his great condolence to the relatives of the people died in the deadly attack expressing sorrowful for the accident adding that such attack killed the Muslim people in the holy Ramadan month was not aimed Jihad or Islamic war.

The president denounced the attack and said it violates the peace calls suggesting to Al-shabab and Hizbul Islam recently to stop the fighting and respect the civilians during the holy month of Ramadan ordering to the government soldiers to start war against rivals.

Somali Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharma'rke had also expressed unfortunate to the hazardous attack killed the innocent civilians in Mogadishu and sent his condolence to all the Somali people whose relatives lost their lives in the attack.

Prof. Abdirahman Haji Aden Ibbi, the deputy Prime Minister of the transitional government of Somalia who was member of the TFG officials reached at the targeted hotel shortly as the two bombers exploded had confirmed casualties of the MPs and the civilians to the reporters.

He said that two men pretending government soldiers had attacked the hotel and opened fire to all the people in the hotel on Tuesday morning adding that they had killed 6 MPs, injuring another while more than 20 civilians in and around the hotel were also killed pointing out that the armed bombers had exploded themselves as they finished their bullets.

More people including parliamentarians and civilians were also injured in the attack according to Prof. Ibbi and other government officials who were at the area of the spot where there had been more government troops tightening the security and refused the journalists to see mood of the hotel.

Al-shabab claimed the responsibility of the attack and said that some of their men whom they said were specially trained for the blasts had carried out the blasts saying that more than 60 people of the TFG officials had been killed in the attack.

Most of the international community had harshly condemned the deadly attack against targeted to Munna hotel for the transitional government of Somalia that caused more casualties of deaths and injuries.
