The Iranian Cultural Center in Senegal plans to hold a series of forums on “the world without violence” on May 14 and 15 in the African country.

According to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, the programs will be organized with the motto of "The World without Violence and Extremism”, the Iranian President’s proposal approved in the UN General Assembly in December 2014.

"Muslim Students, the World without Violence” and "The Role of Cultural Elites of the Muslims World in Realization of the Idea ‘the World without Violence’” are the titles of two of the forums.

The cultural programs will be held in cooperation with the Central Committee of Qadiri Students at Sheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar and the representative of Tijani Caliph in Fatick town of Senegal.

A number of cultural, academic and religious figures as well as representatives of different Sufi orders in the African country will participate in the series of the forms.
