Ghanaian-born former France international Marcel Desailly has pulled out of the race for the Ghana coaching job due to lack of communication between him and the FA. The World Cup winner was shortlisted as one of five coaches to be interviewed next week.
However, the former AC Milan and Chelsea defender said he was disappointed about the way the FA handled the announcement of his shortlisting.

“I’m a bit disappointed about the way things have been moving on where I have not been updated enough directly,” he said.

“It’s the media who have really informed me about movement and what has been going on.

“It’s been three months now since I positioned myself for the Black Star coach position and I have not heard anything, nothing official only newspapers,” the two-time European Champions league winner added.
