Somalia President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has said his country is committed to enhance bilateral relations with Nigeria.

The head of state was speaking in Abuja after holding closed door talks with Nigerian counterpart General Mohamudu Buhari.

“We discussed a lot of issues pertaining the two countries ranging from Al Shabaab and Boko Haram to possible cooperation”, he said.

The President also hinted General Buhari visiting the war torn nation in the feature to improve the relations between the two African states.

Somalia President was among the head of states who attended General Buhari inauguration on Friday in Abuja.

Unit from Nigeria Police are part of AMISOM in Somalia that provide training and capacity building for Somalia Police force.
